Mermaid Art by Tina-Renae
Mermaid

Fantasy Art

Fairies are more playful and mischievous than mermaids in my mind but they still hold that oneness with nature and innocence that I love and personally try to hold onto in my own reality.
As for Goblins, witches and dragons, they’re just
so fun to create!

"Search for the
Meaning of Life"
Acrylic on canvas 120cm x 100cm.

This painting is part of a series I have started with the end result to be a children’s book.

Dr Spoogle made the balloon out of clothes from his closet and it is his own pure determination to get it off the ground because if you look closely, the balloon basket is made from brick.

Green Goblin
Oil on A3 canvas paper, available for purchase with matt boards and custom hand made frame. See product page.

My story about him relates to the sadness of the winter and finally the spring birds arrive singing a song that is so beautiful, that it makes the Green Goblin cry. Where his tears fall is where the first of the spring life starts to grow.

The Green Goblin is also known as a spirit of the garden by Shamans and was also described in an Enid Blyton book, The Green Goblin. (Quite coincidental as I discovered this after I painted him) In the book his name is ‘Tuppeny’ and the book describes him to be sitting on a stile sobbing, because all he wants to do is play in the garden making the flowers grow and listening to the birds sing instead of mining with the other goblins.

Drink Driving warning for Christmas Eve:
Milk and cookies damn it, NOT RUM!
Digital painting by Tina-Renae.
This painting is the result of repeatedly reading Gary Larson comics over and over and over again when I was a wee little child!
Footy Fever
Oil on stretched canvas 120cm x 100cm, framed.

I used a picture of a family friend who is a Sydney Swans fan holding my nephew. Seeing how fanatical people around me seemed to get when it came to football, I decided to have a joking nudge at them by creating this piece. The heavens parted with a goal being made and the overall renaissance feel of a typical religious painting helped portray the religion of this sport.

Berry Fairy
Acrylic on A3 canvas paper with glitter hair, available for purchase with matt boards and custom hand made frame.
See product page.

This fairy is hovering in the treetops with her fresh basket of berries picked from the fields below.

While sitting at a friend’s house whom loves fairies, I decided to finally produce a fairy. I did a sketch out of my head and later on transformed it to what you see here. No reference pictures were used except for a picture of a strawberry and it’s leaves from my garden.

Slovenia Dragon
Acrylic on canvas board.

A dragon flies above the rocky mountains of Slovenia. This was a commission for a couple that had been to Slovenia and were to head back there for a visit.

Dreaming Bliss
Acrylic painting on canvas frame.

A girl daydreams of her fantasy world where she is surrounded by birds, flowers and fairies plaiting her hair.

Autumn Fairy
Acrylic and glitter on A3 canvas paper, available for purchase with matt boards and custom hand made frame. See product page.

The Autumn fairy sprinkles around her magic to help the autumn process.

Made in Autumn using a photo of my daughter dancing.

Blue Serian
Acrylic & Glitter on Canvas
120cm x 100cm

Created on the spur of the moment using acrylic and glitter on a large canvas, this picture comes from a series of visions I was having each morning.

Autumn Lady
Acrylic and mixed media on stretched canvas.

After meeting this lady from France, I was compelled to paint her in a picture. She was all about Autumn and this picture depicts her journey.

What We Leave behind is What our Children Pick Up
Acrylic and mixed media on stretched canvas
frame 120cm x 100cm

A strong message I wanted to portray about the way we treat our world.

Enjoy the small things
Acrylic on board with handmade mdf painted frame. Available for purchase. See product page.

This painting is a reminder to myself and others to take time out to enjoy the smaller things in life, (similar to smelling the roses). By taking time out in our daily lives we can appreciate what is around us and inside us. When we do this, life gets a little brighter and our passion is ignited for what we have and whom we are.

"The balance of light and dark through the use of colour and shapes is the ultimate goal. To achieve that, the hand and the mind are let to run free, listening and dancing to the tune of life. - The dance of creation."
